March 2023: Connect to Sharepoint, Dropbox, Office 365 and OneDrive Using Calibration Toolbox ADO
We've been busy working on a major update to Calibration Toolbox ADO. The File Launcher has been improved to give a substantial increase in support for collaboration and file sharing.
Many Toolbox users are starting to appreciate the benefits of using cloud-based tools such as Sharepoint, OneDrive, Dropbox and Office365. The possibilities for data sharing and collaborative working are very attractive and are becoming more and more cost-effective.
Toolbox's File Launcher has always been a useful way of storing hyperlinks to files and folders stored on PCs and local networks. Each device on the database can have its own set of links to documents such as PDF calibration certificates and user manuals.
This functionality has now been extened to URLs and other web links. The user-interface is intuitive and a pleasure to use. Adding links is simplicity itself:
Enter a title for the link (eg Cal Cert 2023)
Copy the link from your browser in to the link box
Double-click the selected whenever you want to open the link.
The possibilities are endless, here a few to whet your apetite:
We are very proud of this new update. Please get in touch if you would like further details.
Caliso Temps users expect nothing but the very best from our ground-breaking software. They also know that our software support is second to none, and when they ask for something we listen.
This latest update features a significant increase in support for ITS-90 temperature calibrations.
Caliso Temps Certificate Builder enables you to perform a wide range of calculations using the data acquired in the Caliso Temps Laboratory
Interface. In addition to the ability to design your own calibration certificate templates, this also includes full support for the calculation of ITS-90 calibration coefficients and the generation of reverse function data tables
(i.e. calculation of temperatures from given resistances).
On numerous occasions over the past few months we have been asked if we could also include the generation of the forward reference function values (i.e. calculation of resistances from given temperatures). This is included in the latest update.
The tabular data can be exported in two formats:
We are very proud of this new update. Please get in touch if you would like further details.
April 2022: Calibration Toolbox ADO can create labels with QR Codes
Producing great looking labels using Calibration Toolbox ADO has always been an easy job.
Data-aware label template scripts enable you to include deatils such as serial number, calibration due date at the click of a button.
Regular barcodes have always been supported but, since QR codes are becoming more and more widely-used, Calibration Toolbox ADO can now include them on labels for you. Your customers and users will be impressed.
September 2021: Caliso Temps Now Supports Yokogawa GX10/GP10 Paperless Recorders
The GX/GP series are Yokogawa's latest recorders. They offer industry leading reliability and accuracy for industrial automation applications such as power generation, process automation, and factory automation. In fact any applications that require rigorous, continuous monitoring in the control room or laboratory.
With Caliso Temps you can now fully automate the end-to-end calibration of all of the available temperature channels, which is essential in applications such as thermal validation and process monitoring.
Caliso Temps users with a valid extended support contract will receive their updates by email.
August 2019: HART Protocol Instruments Calibration Toolbox ADO and Caliso Temps
The HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) Protocol is the global standard for sending and receiving digital information along the analogue wires that connect smart devices to control or monitoring systems.
Many different types of measuring and recording equipment, such as transmitters for pressure, temperature and loops, use this protocol. Manufacturers include:
Once again, demonstrating our knowledge and leadership in software development for all aspects of calibration, we are pleased to announce that Calibration Toolbox ADO and Caliso Temps are now able communicate with these devices using proprietary HART modems.
One new solution, two applications:

July 2018: Latest Calibration Toolbox Auto EMailer Released
Did you know that the Calibration Toolbox ADO system has a fully configurable utility that enables you to send recall notifications and calibration reminders fully automatically by email?
We call it the TrayMailer. This is because it sits in your system "Tray" in the bottom right-hand corner of your desktop (just to the left of the clock). It's a very powerful tool thay will save you hours of work.
Here are some of TrayMailer's key features:

May 2018: Latest Caliso Temps Supports Calibration of Infrared Thermometers.
We now have an interface to the Fluke 4180 black body calibrator (we also support the Isotech rangge of IR calibrators).
The black body calibrator interface contains a utility to calculate the setpoint corrections needed to compensate for different emissivities of UUT and source - a clever and unique feature.
Other key infrared calibration data such as measurement angle, measurement distance, background (refelected) temperature can be entered and included in your calibration certificates (generated in Certificate Builder).
There is also a new connection: Universal Serial Interface. This enables you complete flexibility to configure your own interface using any manufacturer's protocol. This is useful if there are devices not supported specifically by Lab Interface.
Customers with a valid extended support contract will receive their updates by email.
February 2018: Latest Caliso Temps Update Now Available
The latest version of Calibration Temps (temperature calibration automation software) is now available.
We are very pleased to let you know that over this winter, we have been working very closely with our colleagues at Isotech to support the Isotech milliK and millisKanner's lastest SCPI command set via RS-232 and ethernet. This makes Caliso Temps the world's first software capable of running together all the instruments you need to perform high-quality temperature calibrations via your IT network. We now support both a temperature source (Isotech Advanced Block) and a precision thermometer/reference (Isotech milliK) using TCP/ethernet.
What does this mean?
Think of it: your temperature calibration equipment doesn't need to be connected to your PC anymore. You are now free to run the temperature calibration software anywhere you like: in another part of the lab, or in another lab, building or, in fact, any where in the world. How cool is that ?
Customers with a valid extended support contract will receive their updates by email.
June 2017: Caliso Temps now supports WIKA CTR, CTD and CTB temperature calibration instruments .
As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain Caliso Temps as the world's foremost temperature calibration software, we are pleased to announce that the Lab Interface now supports the WIKA 3000 multi-function precision thermometer, the
WIKA CTD series of calibration dry-wells, and the CTB series of calibration baths.
There is no other software that can offer you such connectivity to temperature calibration instruments, such as blocks, baths and thermometers.
Manufacturers include:
